A little about Kristie:

People always ask me how I got into photography and especially what made me start newborn photography. Well honestly it was never in the plans. In my early twenties I decided to go to school, where I began working in the medical field, I started my career in pediatrics, then moved into dialysis, and eventually met my husband which is what brought me to the Sacramento area.

Shortly thereafter we decided to get married and start a family. That is when my true love for photography began, whether it was taking photos of my babies, friends, families, it eventually evolved to photographing their sporting events, dance photos, senior portraits, etc.

As my kids started getting older they began to be too busy for their mom, it was that moment that I decided to dive right in and begin my photography business journey. I love all of it, the smiles it brings to peoples faces, the moments I capture that can never be recreated, the joy of laughter during our sessions. Truly the best feeling in the world, as I continued to grow I realized even though I genuinely love all types of sessions, new mama's and newborns have stolen my heart. The excitement of new life, the moments a new mom feels her little one kick for the first time, the beauty of pregnancy, the anticipation and excitement of your little ones arrival, all of it is simply the most amazing thing ever. My number one goal is for my clients to come to my studio and feel comfortable and for them to know that their precious gift is safe while we are doing their session, with a experienced and patient newborn photographer whom truly loves what they do.
